01The Great Salt Lake
The Great Salt Lake is one of Utah's most defining natural landmarks! A source of economic vitality, ecological health, and cultural identity. The Lake has lost roughly 70% of its’ water. Toxic dust from the exposed lakebed is blowing into our neighborhoods. Wildlife is under serious threat. For decades, too much water has been taken from the rivers that feed the lake. Our leaders have taken some steps, but nowhere near enough, and too often they've gone easy on the biggest water users and polluters. That ends now! We need to hold polluters accountable. Fixing forfeiture risk (HB410), refining metering, and pricing signals offer better alternatives than direct crop mandates. Data centers remain a key concern; we possess the technology to construct facilities that avoid draining water, yet we do not require it and we should. We need full transparency on data centers. We need growth that doesn't gamble with a shrinking river.
02Second Amendment
Responsible ownership means keeping guns secure. Proper storage prevents theft, reduces accidents, and keeps firearms out of the wrong hands. That's why I support voluntary incentive programs like tax credits for gun safes and trigger locks, with no mandates and no government inspections. Because here's the truth: every time a firearm is misused, it gives ammunition to those who want to take gun rights away entirely. The strongest defense of the Second Amendment isn't anger, it's responsibility. I will fight sweeping bans on law-abiding citizens and keep the focus where it belongs: on safety, education, and keeping guns out of the hands of those who would do harm.
03Artificial Intelligence
Technology moves fast and childhood doesn't get a second chance. Before AI takes a seat in our classrooms, we owe it to our kids to ask hard questions, demand real answers, and put their wellbeing first. Protect the early years, invest in teachers, and keep parents firmly in control. Our children are not a market to be captured and we should govern like we mean it.
04Taxes
Utah families are taxed enough. Groceries cost more. Gas spiked this year. Rent and utilities keep climbing. While paychecks stretch thinner, dozens of local governments across Utah proposed property tax increases this year, some of them for the third or fourth year in a row. As I go door to door, please know I am listening, and I hear the same thing everywhere: we're stretched thin. I’m here to say we need to be more purposeful and transparent with how people are taxed. I propose no property tax increases without a real plan to control spending first, keep the gas tax cut going and end the sales tax on groceries. No Utah family should pay tax to put food on the table.
05Housing
Private equity has no business in our housing market! Families over investors. "Affordable does not mean cheap. It means accessible. It means fair. It means possible.", housing that serves families, not just financial portfolios. By doing this we create community, community people want to be a part of and protect, grow and invest themselves in.
06Term Limits
The introduction of term limits to reduce corruption is key. We have to make sure our politicians’ morals can’t be bought. Always remember we are electing public servants not idols.
07Data Centers
With growth comes responsibility and along with it should also come transparency. Our communities need to have a say and full scope of what the data centers will be doing to our air, life quality and water. Communities need to have proper channels to hear and voice opinions on what is happening in their own backyards.
08Education
For money intended for public school to remain within public schools. Putting our focus back on our educators and giving them the proper resources needed to succeed and support they need to continue helping shape the next generation. I believe in strengthening our public schools and I believe every parent should get to choose what's best for their child. Those two things aren't in conflict. A strong public school system is what makes real choice possible in the first place, but one family's choice shouldn't come at the expense of the school down the street that another family relies on. I want a Utah where every option is a good one, not a system where choice for some means less for everyone else.
09Clean Air
My goal is to hold companies responsible for polluting our air, our water and our cities accountable! To fight for cleaner air for our families and families to come. Making polluters responsible and taking away the tax burdens it brings on to the taxpayer, and putting the fees of medical and environmental liability back on the companies responsible for polluting our cities. Promote company transparency and accessibility. To stop corporate greed of the few to harm the lives of the many.
